You will be told how many points you have been awarded when you checkout, as well as in your Order Confirmation email, and you can check your total number of points and their value at any time by logging in to your account and clicking "Order Information". To redeem points, make sure you log in to your account before you check out, and then tick the "Use Points" box in your checkout basket, and the points will be automatically allocated to the order.
