This Micro Lite Kite is fully assembled and ready to fly. It can be use indoors and out (though is not recommended in high winds). Just gently swing the control rod back and forth, and before you know it the kite is flying! With a slight breeze outside it works like a regular kite.
The brilliant light shining off your kite is caused by "diffraction". If you take a close look, there are thousands of parallel lines on the surface created by a laser so that they form a pattern. When light waves from an electric bulb or the sun hits these lines, the waves break up and scatter in many directions, causing the light to bend or diffract into the bands of colour you see - it's something like a rainbow.
Kite is 30" long and the wingspan is 8 ½ inches.
