Ugly Dolls are huge in the USA, and growing in popularity in the UK, with the Millionth uglydoll sold just recently! They appear in movies and videos, and celebrities are getting in on the act too (see our Uglydolls Feedback & Pictures Page for details). These beautiful plush collectables emerged from the minds of two star crossed artists Sun-Min Kim and David Horvath, who met at Parsons School of Design in New York City. The dolls came from the doodles David drew at the end of their love letters when Sun-Min went back to Korea (the tale does have a happy ending, as the couple have little uglies of their very own now). Made from a soft fleece-like material, Ugly Dolls are beautiful to behold (and hold). Our New Uglydolls blog has more information on the latest batch.
